Boogie Jack's Web Depot is a webmasters' delight featuring excellent original graphics, HTML, and graphics tutorials, product reviews, and too many other great features to list. The casual visitor will love the humor, contests, and other diversions. A great resource, but it's also a funny and fun place to be. I highly recommend it!
Boogie Jack also has three useful and interesting newsletters, "the Whistleblower" which is a virus and virus-hoax alerts newsletter, "Almost a Newsletter" has interesting tips and information about web site design arrives monthly and a new newsletter which arrives weekly, "the Nutty Net Tudor". Valuable information and fun, too. I interviewed my Uncle Den to see what he thought about Boogie Jack's. He said, "Visit this weird guy's site, he's an alien with no life." There you have it, advice from the expert and me. Here is a sample of one of Boogie Jack's give-aways:

Peter Kent has written many books about the Internet, one of my favorites is Poor Richard's Web Site: Geek-free, commonsense advice on building a low-cost web site. I had been thrashing around for a year and a half trying to find out the nuts and bolts of managing a web site and it was my lucky day when I stumbled onto the Poor Richard's Web site. I read the couple chapters of the book on the web site, ordered the book immediately. Since then I have ordered Poor Richard's Internet Marketing and Promotions, and the most recent written by Chris Prillo of Lockergnome fame, Poor Richard's E-mail Publishing. Visit the web site even if you're not interested in the books --lots of useful information about web sites, interesting articles and links. You can also sign up for the Poor Richard's Web News. You guessed it. I get the newsletter, too. Really worthwhile stuff here, folks. |
